Mutualistic & Parasitic Relationships

Wheeeewwww chileeee, anyways, child...

A mutualistic relationship is one where both parties benefit from each other and a parasitic one is when one party benefits from the other.

Mutualism like how a dog supplies protection and companionship to humans, & the humans in return provide food, love and shelter.

Now let’s make it more relatable in our daily lives. You see those “ride or die, your death is my death, your success is my success” type friends? Those are part of your mutualistic relationships.

Those people who support you no matter what and you do the same, you both benefit from being in each other’s lives. Those relationships tend to last the longest because there is a sense of deeper understanding and genuine love where you understand each other’s struggles.

Parasitic like how a mosquito sucks another organisms blood for survival. TOKSIK!

Far too many relationships are like this and we just don’t notice it. Them ones there where you find yourself putting in the most effort, this can be remembering their birthday, checking up on them etc. THESE ONES LITERALLY DRAIN ALL YOUR EFFORT, LOVE & ENERGY!!! These types of relationships mean one party only contacts or remembers the other when in times of trouble, when they are broke or can’t make ends meet. THEY ONLY EXPECT YOU TO HELP RESOLVE THEIR ISSUES. TOKSIK!

A parasite because they drain you every time they decide to come back into your life, they will expect you to support their grind, but they won’t support yours.

It makes my blood boil actually because I’ve had too many parasitic relationships along the way & it’s scary how long it took me to back off.

Guys please, be alert! Notice these relationships and try your best to avoid PARASITES, they will drain you.

Anyways, chop life & thank you for reading,
