I’ll be 21 this year. WOW.
Anyways, how was your New Year’s celebration? Good? Great, well congratulations you made it to 2021.
Frankly, I don’t know how to feel about it, we are still in a pandemic and as for the United Kingdom it isn’t exactly getting any better... usually I fly out don’t think twice & just book it. But now I can’t even fly to most European countries because they don’t want us Brits (our covid-19 numbers are rising exponentially). I have to think twice about travelling as well for the reasons mentioned and finally I can’t just book things anymore, a lot of planning and research has to be done first.
But, it is a new year and I am looking forward to it so I’m done wallowing & now want to be more positive. Balance.
I am looking forward to all the milestone birthdays this year, most of my friends will be turning 20 (buncha babies i know, i know). And a few of them including me, will be turning 21 which is HUGE & I’m only praying that these birthdays will not be affected by anything... ahem...Covid-19. I REBUKE IT!
I am currently in second year of uni, and like I’ve mentioned before it has been a tricky year but I will be going on my year out placement and moving from home, very exciting stuff.
2020 was a challenging year for all, a lot of BIG plans were ruined or cancelled and a lot of milestones were missed. Whether it is driving licenses, theory tests, birthday plans, dates, travel plans, I JUST WANT IT ALL TO BE POSSIBLE THIS YEAR! I dont think I’m asking for too much at all...
My prayers will be answered and with God nothing is impossible this year. Nothing will be in my way and even if I face obstacles, I will overcome them all. The universe is on my side, my ancestors are working in my favour and I know Satan works hard too but my God works three times harder.
