Travelling During A Pandemic (1)

Updated: Oct 22, 2020

Y’all better be prepared to read this because I’m about to share with you some interesting FACTS about travelling during Covid-19 pandemic.

We’re all aware of the Karens being all “omg don’t travel! you need to quarantine for two weeks! you’ll bring Corona back!” this that and the third.

Well sis, & bro, let me tell you sumn. There is Corona regardless of where you are. Catching the bus into town is just as risky as getting on a plane to go to a different country.

No I am not encouraging you to catch flights every other week, yes Corona still exists. You’ll still need to stay safe while you’re there, wear your mask, sanitise and maintain a 2m distance. Like those are just the basics. But what I’m about to tell you is what nobody else is going to tell you. Even those vloggers that you be watching, they won’t tell you this.

Maybe they will, I don’t know. But listen up.

Right so as you may know, there are some countries that you can travel to without needing to quarantine for two weeks when you return. I’m only talking in terms of the United Kingdom because I live in the United Kingdom.

Some countries you will need to quarantine for two weeks when you return and others none of that. Others where you will need to have valid proof of your COVID-19 test 72 hours before flying out. And then in other instances you just need to fill-in a passenger locator form (PLF) before you arrive to your destination and just before you come back to the United Kingdom.

Me and my friends went to Corfu Island, Greece. All we needed was the PLF form.

Now let me tell you something they will put extreme emphasis on how accurate your passenger locator form needs to be and emphasis on how you cannot make even a single mistake otherwise they will not let you board your flight. LIES!

I say lies because one of my friends made a couple mistakes on her PLF form and we were anxious and worried that she was not going to be allowed to board the flight with us but we were so surprise when we got to the airport that all she had to do was scan the QR code and she boarded the flight.🎊🎉 Upon arrival to Greece, nobody even checked the forms for any of us.

POINT IS: honestly see the world while you can, I recommend going to countries that don’t have the 2 week quarantine. Do your research, enjoy your time there WHILE STAYING SAFE and yh, Bob’s your uncle.

Thank you for reading,
