We see this a lot everywhere, “money can’t buy happiness” but I can prove to you that’s not true.
First of all, anyone who believes money cannot buy happiness is obviously not spending it right! Let me explain;
From a personal experience whenever I get money I am the happiest version of me. It makes me feel so at ease that I have plenty of money to spend and I start looking forward to spending it. Having that money means that I can plan holidays, date nights with friends & experiences which together will enhance my happiness.
Without money, I wouldn’t have the experiences I carry with me everyday, I wouldn’t be able to take care of family back home, I wouldn’t be able to contribute to my community & more importantly I wouldn’t be able to satisfy my needs. All of these things make me happy whether I am spending the money on myself or on others around me.
Often people who believe money doesn’t buy happiness base it off the facts that money stresses them out, it creates problems & there’s more to life than money. And I absolutely agree, but while it’s stressful to manage money, plan ahead and budget, that is the thrill of having money. It’s part of the happiness of having money. When you can see how far you can stretch that money and what you can do with it, it’s not only liberating but also brings immense joy.
Hence why it’s important to note that money brings happiness to those that spend it right
